The Eastern Orthodox Church uses the Julian Calendar instead of the Gregorian Calendar that is used in the west. The Julian calendar is 13 days behind the Gregorian calendar. So, it's still December 25th to them, it just falls on January 6th in the western world. Technically, the Eastern Orthodox Christmas also falls on December 25th and not January 6th.
